Milestone 1 finished. What I accomplished.

I completed my task to create a basic character controller. In addition, I used cinemachine plugin to add a thirdperson camera that feels smooth and fluid. Other minor tasks I accomplished include spicing up the temporary prototype environment with trees and structures using unity primitive shapes.
